Xiaomi launched Mi4 just after Mi3 launched in India : Mi4 specs

Chinese device maker Xiaomi has unveiled its new flagship smartphone, Xiaomi Mi 4. The phone will be available in China.

The phone has been priced at a range of $320 for the 16GB version and $400 for the 64GB variants.

This is the successor of the Xiaomi Mi 3, the phone features a stainless steel metal frame and a 5-inch full HD display made by Sharp or JDI. Its changeable plastic back cover is changable.

Xiaomi Mi 4 is powered by a 2.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor and has 3GB RAM. The phone runs i MIUI 6, a new version of the company's operating system, which is based on Android 4.4 KitKat.

The phone packed with a 13MP rear and 8MP front Sony stacked CMOS camera and a 3080mAh battery. According to Xiaomi, the battery would last one and a half day with normal usage and will offer quick charging, reaching 60% charge in an hour's time.

The launch comes on the day of the Mi 3 launch in the Indian market. Available exclusively on Flipkart, the phone sold out in 45 minutes. According to Xiaomi, 100,000 people had registered to participate in the sale.
